Payment terms

• All Membership will be for centralised INA membership, irrespective of Chapters. And fee shall be collected by head office. Membership fee shall get reviewed every 3 years.

• One time registration fee for all category (Except Student Members) of INR 1000/- will be charged to members now to build up the reserves w.e.f. 1st. April 2021. Annual fee to be paid fully in one instalment.

• Eligible Members older than 70yrs will be granted ‘Fellows’ Membership, and the fee shall we waived.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Institution of Naval Architects India does not extend refunds once an application for any Membership  Level is completed and the fees are paid.
2. In case of any error in payment or any other exceptional circumstances, grievances can be sent to INA.india@gmail.com. The final decision will be taken with the approval of the EC.
3. No cancellations are allowed.

All categories of members of the Institution of Naval Architects will be entitled to following benefits for now, additional benefits as they develop will be intimated later:

1. Free invitation for attendance of the Webinars and Web-based Technical sessions. Non-members will only be able to watch on YouTube / Facebook etc.

2. Invitation to attend a physical Seminars, Conferences & Technical Session fully or partially hosted by INA & its Chapters at a nominal Fee towards meeting expenses. 

3. Free down-loadable copy of the Journal of Ship Technology (JST) as they get published (from July-August 2021). Members will be encouraged to submit their Technical 

Articles in the JST free of cost for review towards publication. (This will be applicable to Student Members as well).

4. Networking Opportunity through Social gatherings (picnics, dinners) and with spouse hosted by INA & its Chapters at a nominal fee towards meeting expenses.

5. Opportunity to make Business Presentation (Webinars, Seminars, Technical Sessions etc.) to the other Members of their respective Business Focus area.

6. Purchase of Books authored by other Members after a deal is made by INA with the Publisher. INA will also encourage and support members to Publish Books, Monographs etc. on topics of their expertise.

7. Eligible for the Receipt of Annual Award from INA for Exceptional Professional Contribution in contribution in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Shipping, Shipbuilding, Naval Construction.
