INA Bangalore Chapter – Meeting Highlights (25 Apr 2026)
The second meeting of the INA Bangalore Chapter was held on Saturday, 25 April 2026, at the TAPMI Campus, Yelahanka. A total of 13 members attended the session, representing a growing and active community within the Chapter’s membership strength of 30.
Technical Presentations
Five members delivered insightful presentations covering ship design, naval evolution, and emerging competencies in the maritime sector:

Capt. N.S. Mohanram – The Long Road to Self‑Sufficiency in Warship Design
RAdm K.N. Vaidyanathan – Evolution of Indian Naval Ship Designs (1990–2010)
Cdr (Dr.) S.N. Krishnan – Need for Business and Management Skills in Ship Design, Building, and Research
Mr. Anildas N.T. – Automation of Quality in Shipbuilding
These talks reflected the depth of expertise within the Chapter and encouraged meaningful discussion on India’s maritime capabilities and future pathways.
